About

A pinch of magic in every day

I’m Lydia, an artist who loves to romanticize life and seeks out opportunities to make it a little more whimsical. I enjoy creating portraits in black-and-white watercolor, graphite and colorful oils.

Every day I ask myself: how can I make this day more magical?

How can we see every event in our life as something happening FOR us? When we set our mind to finding magic, it starts to appear almost instantly. The world speaks to us through funny coincidences, songs, even billboards.

I seek to represent the feeling of mystery, play and psychological depth in my art.
